11-Aug-2004	OLD MEETS NEW AT ST MARGARET'S PUB A 17th century pub, The Hope Inn, St Margaret's at Cliffe, was officially re-opened on Wednesday 21 July 2004, following a £40,000 refurbishment by Faversham brewers Shepherd Neame, part of a £20 million investment in their pubs over three years.
