From tailor-made Christmas parties and end-of-year conferences to unique corporate gifts, Shepherd Neame brewery has it covered this Christmas.

As excitement heightens in the lead-up to Christmas, staff tasked with organising the company's festive activities can find it a stressful time of year. The pressure is always on to find an exciting, inspiring venue for the office party and end-of-year conference or seminar.

Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer, offers a unique setting for parties and corporate events and is located in the medieval market town of Faversham, Kent.

The award-winning Visitor Centre is set in a beautifully-restored medieval hall house with a magnificent 15th century function room and private bar area.

The brewery offers a range of catering options from four-course beer dinners - where each course is carefully matched with a complementary ale or lager - to brewers' platters and ale samplers' suppers. All food is freshly prepared on site, using some of the best locally-sourced ingredients.

There is seating for up to 90 guests, and the exposed wooden beams and traditional décor create a welcoming and relaxed environment in which to enjoy superb food and drink with friends and colleagues.

With exclusive use of the bar, stocked with Shepherd Neame ales and lagers and a selection of wines and spirits, there is also space for a DJ or live band.

As part of the evening, guests can choose to take a guided tour through the heart of the brewery, showing the whole beer-making process from hop to hand pump.

Shepherd Neame also offers competitive packages for corporate away-days, including brewery tours and team-building exercises. The flexible space makes it ideal for boardroom style meetings or smaller break out groups. A full range of public address and presentation equipment is available including a lectern, projector and large screen, flipcharts, a laptop computer and a DVD player.

The Shepherd Neame brewery has excellent transport links, whether driving or taking the fast train from London, the journey takes just over one hour. The town centre is a five-minute drive from the M2 and there is ample parking in the area.

Staff can arrange a package that includes high-quality accommodation in two Shepherd Neame pubs a short walk from the brewery, the historic Sun Inn, in the town's attractive conservation area, and The Railway Hotel, mentioned in the Good Food Guide 2009. Shepherd Neame can also cater for corporate gifts with its wide range of luxury hampers, starting from just £35.50 including delivery. Choose from the Spitfire Ale Hamper, Local Produce Gift Set, Wine Hampers and many more. There is also the option to create your own bespoke hamper, or you can choose to send a selection of Shepherd Neame's fine Kentish ales.
