The Aviator (formerly known as The Lady Hamilton) is a short drive from the new Sheppey Bridge, on Queenborough Corner. Refurbished to a very high standard by Shepherd Neame the Aviator is well worth a visit.

The interior design features artefacts relating to Sheppey's role in the early days of powered flight, recalling the exploits of pioneers such as the Short Brothers, the Gordon Bennett air race; the Eastchurch Naval Flying School and the visit of Wilbut and Orville Wright to Leysdown in 1909.

A contrasting landscape awaits you as countryside meets coast - attractive orchard and extensive farmlands nestle alongside popular beaches, maritime marshland and idyllic waters.
