Shepherd Neame's recently-refurbished Visitor Centre in the heart of historic Faversham makes an ideal venue for a corporate event.

Whether it is a seminar, meeting, product launch, private lunch or dinner. The Visitor Centre includes an attractive, 15th Century function room - featuring a wealth of exposed beams, a superb octagonal crownpost and a magnificent beer-bottle chandelier - which can seat up to 70 while the museum meeting room is ideal for 2 - 10 delegates. A range of presentation and PA equipment is available and the itinerary can be tailored to your individual requirements. For an event with a difference, you can include a Brewery Tour and/or one of the brewery's popular tutored tastings.

A full catering service is available and we pride ourselves on superb food and service - in addition, the Visitor Centre features a traditional bar with a contemporary feel serving Shepherd Neame's range of award-winning ales and speciality lagers, along with a carefully selected range of wines.

Those taking the tour will get an intriguing look behind the scenes at Britain's Oldest Brewer as your guide takes you through the heart of this busy working brewery, to see how beer is made from barley to bottle and from hop to hand-pump! En-route you can gaze into the traditional mash tuns where the hand-crafting of Kentish Ales such as Spitfire, Bishop's Finger and 1698 Bottle Conditioned Ale commences. There's a chance to try some malted barley; smell locally-grown Kentish hops; visit the modern Millennium Brewhouse with its magnificent stained glass windows, see bygone delivery vehicles and step into a recreated cooper's workshop.

Once you have seen the care that goes into consistently brewing really good Shepherd Neame beers, there's the opportunity to sample some during an enlightening tutored tasting - audience participation encouraged!
